So what is a stock market?
- Aba e di palengke ng stock lol. This is where company shares are traded like in any market wherein there is a buyer and there is a seller.
Company
shares - this a representation of ownership from a company. So if a
company (say Jollibee) has 1,000 total outstanding shares and you bought
10 share then you basically own 1% from the company(Jollibee). Aba bigatin si tsong/tsang!
Philippine
Stock Exchange - This is where you will find all registered resident
companies in the Philippine in which their company shares are traded
publicly. These companies are of course regulated depending on the
policies and rules of PSE.
Brokers/Brokerage
Firm - Apparently, one of the rule of PSE is that you can only buy
stocks through a broker/brokerage firm. Don't go directly to PSE and say
you want to buy a share of Jollibee hehe, no one will entertain you.
